Delta Airlines is apologizing to a Michigan man who sat in dog poop on a flight from Atlanta to Miami on November 1st.

WXYZ Detroit reports that the man, from Bay City, "noticed feces all over the floor and his seat." It was left from a service dog from a previous flight. He claims the flight crew did nothing about it after sitting in it.

He said he and his seat neighbor had to lay a blanket to sit on during the two-hour flight.

Since then, Delta released a statement apologizing to all passengers and have reached out to the customer and refunded his flight plus offered extra compensation. They've also launched an investigation into the matter.
