Top Michigan recruit Aubrey Solomon, a defensive end from Georgia, will not be going to school in Ann Arbor due to a spelling error on a thank you card he was sent.

You can hear the veins bulging on Jim Harbaugh's forehead from 100 miles away.

Someone in the University of Michigan's football department is in huge trouble today after a top recruit pulled his commitment thanks to a thank you note that had some issues.

I just imagine Harbaugh yelling at the poor staff member who didn't pay attention to details.

Aubrey Solomon is a Top 100 high school player from Georgia who’s being recruited by all the top football programs in the country. He committed to Michigan, but now he’s not so sure, since the folks at Michigan don’t know how to spell his name.

tweeted. Even worse, it was thanking both him and his mom for going to an event they didn’t attend. “I don’t know which recruit they were talking about, but it was not me. It was a little heartbreaking for them to confuse me with someone else.”

Now, Solomon has decided to let his mama decide where he goes, adding – “I will make my decision with my mother in the drivers (sic) seat.” Of course, he still plans to visit Michigan, but Mama is a Georgia fan and would prefer Solomon stay a little closer to home.
