In the wake of so many breaches and a Congressional spanking, the Secret Service was bound to get serious about protecting President Obama at some point – and making sure we know about it.

Another person is arrested for carrying a weapon outside the White House.  Twenty-three-year-old April Lenhart was arrested along the White House's north fence line last night after Secret Service agents saw she had a nine-millimeter handgun in a holster.

The Mt. Morris, Michigan woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of an unregistered firearm.  It was the second such arrest in two days.  Wednesday, an Iowa man was arrested for having a rifle in his car outside the White House.

Lenhart was part of a huge gathering of both supporters and detractors of the President's Immigration policy outside the White House last night following his press conference.

Lenhart was arrested with an unarmed male companion, and is cooperating with authorities, although they are saying it was impossible to know what her intentions were with the firearm.
