Missing Grand Rapids Teen Found Unharmed

UPDATE: Mitzi Hernandez has been found and is safe and reunited with her family.

The Grand Rapids Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a student who is missing after leaving Catholic Central High School Thursday afternoon.

Hernandez, 14, walked away from the school 12:50 p.m., according to police, after making threats about harming herself.

Hernandez is Hispanic, approximately 5'4", and has dark dark hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue pullover shirt and a gray skirt.
