Well, the Grand Rapids Public Museum does! According to Travel+Leisure magazine, the "Grand Rapids Museum Carousel, MI" is the 14th best carousel in the US! Again, Grand Rapids just keeps getting better and better! I wonder if there will be a population explosion in West Michigan soon. It seems like every week there's a new article or survey that just cements what we already know by living here: Grand Rapids is a pretty freakin' cool place to be!

According to the article "America's Best Carousels", the Public Museums' carousel was "Built in 1902, this (carousel) is housed in a glass building built over a river, creating the illusion that you’re about to ride into the water. Note the ticket booth as you enter; it’s the original one that debuted with the carousel’s opening." Only one problem: according to the Museum's website, the carousel was ACTUALLY built in 1928...Hmmm you would think the research on this woouldn't be too hard to do. Oh well.

Pretty sweet! Way to go again, GR! Now if we can do something about the Gerald Ford graffiti stuff...
