For a lot of parents, coming up with a name for their baby isn’t always easy, but for some, inspiration can come from their favorite TV or movie character. And apparently last year, a lot of people just couldn’t 'Let It Go' and were inspired to name their babies Elsa after the character in 'Frozen.'

According to new figures released by the Social Security Administration, 1,131 baby girls were given the name Elsa last year, which is up from 528 in 2013. In fact, it was so popular, it actually cracked the list of the Top 500 names for the first time in 100 years, landing at 286th.

And Elsa’s not the only name to gain popularity thanks to the Disney animated hit. Seems 132 boys were given the moniker Hans, up from 58 in 2013, 55 parents chose Sven for their son, up from 33 the previous year and 32 boys were named Kristoff, up from seven in 2013.

Meanwhile, the name Anna, also a character from 'Frozen,' is currently ranked 34th, but it’s always been popular and shows no significant increase over the past year.

Well, as long as they all become the good girls they always have to be, I guess there's no harm in it. (See what I did there? If not, watch the video below and excuse yourself for not memorizing the words by now).

It could have been worse, there could have been a rise in Olafs.

Were you ever inspired to name your child after a favorite TV show, movie or anything like that?
