Mark Goodman was one of MTV's original video jocks (VJs), changing how we viewed music forever back in in 1981.

He joined "The Jojo Show" this morning to talk about his love of the old '70s and '80s NBC late-night show, "The Midnight Special", which just released a collector's edition boxed set on DVD.

The show was similar to NBC's "Saturday Night Live" because of its rule that you had to perform live sets, you couldn't lip sync. It also introduced millions to new groups that weren't accessible in their parts of the country.

Mark and Jojo talked about the ground breaking nature of the show, which live sets they remembered and how the girls in Fleetwood Mac were different, among other things.

And here's Fleetwood Mac on the "The Midnight Special" from 1976.
