Neil Young Does Not Support Donald Trump

Anyone who watched Donald Trump announce he's running for president yesterday may have noticed that he entered to Neil Young’s classic, “Rockin’ In The Free World.” Well, it’s no surprise to hear that Neil isn’t too happy about it.

A rep for the rocker tells TMZ that Neil, a Libertarian, did not give Trump permission to use the song, and is not supporting the reality show star’s run for office.

"Donald Trump was not authorized to use 'Rockin' In The Free World' in his presidential candidacy announcement," said an official statement from Young's peeps. "Neil Young, a Canadian citizen, is a supporter of Bernie Sanders for President of the United States of America."
