Did you hear about that marching parade in downtown a few weeks back? Here's a cool video of the parade when it got going and people hanging out on the blue bridge after it took off.

I just caught a few minutes of the Original Grand Rapids Swing Dancing on the Blue Bridge in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. I took a few photos, but was more interested in testing out the video on my camera by capturing video of New Orleans Jazz Marching Band that started on the Blue Bridge, then headed west, then looped around to the river, near the museum, back to the Pearl Street Bridge, and back toward Rosa Parks Circle.

But what happened on the Blue Bridge after the band trailed off past the bridge was interesting too. Not many people wanted the party to stop, so they just hung out on the bridge and did their own dancing. Just friends hanging out and enjoying the beginning of Summer.

Being from Louisiana I know a thing or two about marching parades, and I totally feel like I missed out.
