Three weeks after cancelling all of her scheduled performances for the month of May (including one in Battle Creek on May 10), Olivia Newton-John took to Facebook Tuesday to announce that she's been diagnosed with breast cancer.

This is not her first bout with the disease. The Huffington Post reports that Newton-John was previously diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, when she underwent a partial mastectomy, chemotherapy, and a breast reconstruction.

She had previously postponed several of her shows due to back pain. That pain, it turns out, was actually the cancer, which has metastasized to the sacrum.
