Oscar Mayer recently announced that its parent company, Kraft Heinz, has decided to move the famous hot dog (and bologna) company back to Chicago.

Oscar Mayer was originally founded in Chicago in 1883 by German immigrant Oscar F. Mayer, but as the company grew in popularity, it moved to Madison, Wisconsin, which has been the company's headquarters since 1919.

The arrival of Oscar Mayer in Chicago is more than welcome, according to Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. "Oscar Mayer's decision to return to Chicago is a reflection of the talent of our workforce, the strength of our world-class transportation networks, and the certainty and confidence we have given businesses that invest in our city," Emanuel said.

Perhaps the arrival of Oscar Mayer to Chicago will prompt a Weenie Whistle giveaway? One can hope.
