A familiar, ahem, face graces the cover of the last issue of Playboy to include nude photographs: Pamela Anderson. Hooray?

If you’ll remember, Playboy announced in October that it would stop publishing images of fully nude women in its print issues.

The first playmate was Marilyn Monroe, in her prime at age 23. The last will be Pamela Anderson at age 48. The magazine had a fun ride, but it’s clear that things definitely went downhill fast.

Anderson tells Entertainment Tonight, "I got a call from [Hugh Hefner's] attorney, who said, 'We don't want anybody else. There's nobody else, could you do the last cover of Playboy?'"

The mom of two admits, "I had a rough few years where I felt a little insecure, 'cause you know everyone's getting older. I thought, 'My gosh, I miss the Playboy days.'"

I know the internet and the world at alrge loves to hate, especially on older people, but you have to admit she stills looks pretty damn good, and I'm not even going to qualify it with a smug 'for her age.' She looks damn good. Period.

Playboy has been publishing nude photos for 62 years now, so this is a historic end to an era. The issue hits stands next Friday.
