Patti LaBelle is certainly happy her sweet potato pies are selling out at Walmart, but she’s not so happy a viral video star is getting all the credit.

Earlier this month, James Wright posted a video in which he joyously reviewed Patti’s pies. Now that video has been viewed over 10 million times, giving the pies some much needed exposure, and causing fans to flock to Walmart to buy them.

Well, while Patti loved the video, and even called James to thank him, she wants at least some of the credit for the pies'  success. She told TMZ reporters, “I was selling out before the guy did his wonderful video."

TMZ claims some people are selling Patti LaBelle's signature sweet potato pies for $100 on Craigslist. The pies cost under $4 at Walmart. Many Walmart stores are out of the pies and won't be restocked until early December.

Fortune magazine claims Patti LaBelle improved Walmart's sweet potato pies by adding cinnamon, a thicker crust and a different texture than traditional pumpkin pie.
