People Actually Called Police Because Facebook Was Down
As most people know, Facebook froze up for less than an hour this past Friday — but it was just enough time for mass panic to kick in as police had to actually remind people that this was NOT a real emergency.
Sgt. Brink, a public information officer in Los Angeles County was forced to send out a tweet with this message:
“#Facebook is not a Law Enforcement issue, please don’t call us about it being down, we don’t know when FB will be back up!”
Yup, humanity began to crumble as Facebook bros– anxious to work on their game with attention-deprived chicks — were greeted with this apology: “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.”
Wow. I bet some guys were so distraught — they ALMOST had a conversation with someone who was in the same room as them.
#Facebook is not a Law Enforcement issue, please don’t call us about it being down, we don’t know when FB will be back up!
