People Helping…They Are Out There
Meet Mary-Ann Meyer of Sparta. After Hurricane Sandy wiped out the East Coast, she decided to take some action and help out a rural fire department close to New York. She got in contact with the Gerrittsen Beach Fire Department to see what the biggest needs are. They are first and foremost in need of prayers as they rebuild, but they are also in need of cleaning supplies and a new sign for their department. Luckily, Mary-Ann has a sign shop and she is covering the making of that, but the cleaning supplies and some money to help get them to the folks in need are still on the want list.
