Phil Collins is looking back on his solo career. On November 6th the singer will release re-mastered, deluxe editions of his 1981 solo debut, Face Value, as well as his fifth solo album, 1993’s Both Sides.

Each release, personally curated by Collins, will feature original studio material, as well as live and demo versions of songs.

"I've always been quite proud of my demos and have often made them available as B-sides, but with a few exceptions, I have avoided including those on these collections," Collins said in a statement. "Instead, I've focused on how nicely the songs developed when played onstage, rather than showing how they originated."

But Collins re-issue plans won’t stop with those two albums. He says that over “the coming months” he will eventually release all eight of his solo efforts, with all of them featuring new artwork with Collins recreating the poses from the original covers.

Face Value featured the beginning of his collaborations with the famed Earth Wind and Fire horn section, starting with the song, "I Missed Again".

The goofy video to the song features the comedic side of Phil as he "air" plays the entire song.
