WZZM13 reports that Oceana County Sheriff's Department and the Newaygo County Sheriffs Office are working together and asking for the public’s help in finding thieves who broke into a barn last Sunday (Aug. 6th).

The thieves broke into the barn and stole a shot gun, two ATVs, a weed chipper, chainsaw and other power tools.  The barn was located on Maple Island Road near the county line.

On Friday, August 11th, Police released photos from a trail cam,  of a man and dodge neon that they believe, are involved with the break-in.

According to WZZM13, police ask if to have any info that can help them find those involved or recover the stolen property, please call the Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office at 231-689-7303 or the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office at 231-873-2121.
