I live on the northwest side of Grand Rapids and I’m known to be a bit mouthy, so this is scary.

WOODTV reports that Sunday morning around 3:30 am, a house on the 1100th block on Davis Ave called Grand Rapids Police because someone had just fired shots at them.

Upon arrival, police found bullet holes in the siding of the house who called 9-1-1.  The residents were uninjured and told police they had yelled at a group outside to quiet down and they answered back by shooting at the house.

Not really how you expect that moment to go; also makes me rethink leaving notes on cars that park like a jerk in my neighborhood.

According to WOODTV, police have very little to go on, as the victims were unable to give any kind of description or number of people involved.

As always, if you can help, please do, call the GRPD at 616-456-3400 or submit a tip with Silent Observer.
