Prices Going Up at John Ball Zoo This Year [VIDEO]

When John Ball Zoo opens for the season, don't be surprised to see a hike in admission price. 

WZZM-13 reports adults tickets are going up $2.50, and $2 for kids and seniors.

John Ball Zoo sent out a letter to members letting them know about the increase.

Even though a millage was passed in 2016 to help fund John Ball Zoo, zoo leaders say the price increase is still needed to help take care of the animals and for general upkeep.

The price increase goes into effect March 1.
