Remember the song we told you Prince would be doing in response to the Baltimore situation? Well, E! Online said he released it Saturday – the day before his Rally 4 Peace concert in that city.

Meanwhile, the Baltimore Sun said that thousands turned out for the show, which took place yesterday at Royal Farms Arena. Prince asked everyone to wear gray as a symbolic message of our shared humanity and love for one another. Some did, and others did the spring thing with plenty of colors.

Right after Prince played “Baltimore,” he invited Baltimore’s State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby on stage. Apparently her husband, Baltimore City Councilman Nick Mosby, had given her tickets to the show for Mother’s Day. She didn’t offer any remarks, and we know that His Purpleness is a man of few words. But he did speak. “The system is broken," he offered. "It's going to take the young people to fix it this time. We need new ideas, new life...The next time I come to Baltimore I want to stay in a hotel owned by you.”

As promised, the concert featured special musical guests Doug E. Fresh, Estelle and Miguel. And Prince played his hits, including "When Doves Cry" and "Little Red Corvette."
