The funny spoof Pure Michigan ads are pure genius.

The guy who does them -- there are almost 70 now -- is really clever.

Sure, he doesn't sound all that much like Tim Allen. But he has the music and he knows Michiganders. He really has a grasp of what makes us funny as a state.
