Jimmy Fallon's Celebrity Lip Syncing is bring back a an old show and concept 30 years later! The old show "Puttin' on the Hits" where people lip synced to current and popular songs, is getting a reboot!

The creator, Wm. Randy Wood, is staring a new competition show called "America's Lip Sync Star" This story "The Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon Epic Lip Sync Battles Spawns Nationwide Search For America’s Lip Sync Star" explains.

"Thirty years after the hit TV series ‘Puttin on the Hits’ first debuted, the search is on once again. The creator of the original 80’s show announced today, show producers are looking for the very best, lip-syncing impersonators and look-a-like tribute bands across America for an all new series, America's Lip Sync Star."

"Winners from each audition will advance to regional and then national finals, where the top vote getters representing their cities will be selected by celebrity judges and audience text voting. About the National Search: In an exclusive co-production with Ranwood Productions, Thunderball Films is planning to shoot the all new America's Lip Sync Star TV series early next year."
