Remember the movie Blow?

The film starred Johnny Depp as George Jung a.k.a “Boston George”, a real life coke smuggler back in the ‘70s and early ‘80s.

Directed by Ted Demme, Blow is a great movie in general, but it’s even more amazing knowing that it’s based on a true story!

Rumor has it the real-life Jung was responsible for roughly 89% of cocaine smuggled into the country back in the day.

On June 2 2014, the real George Jung was released from prison after serving nearly 20 years for drug smuggling.

TMZ reported that Jung was originally scheduled to be released this November, but was released early.

If you haven’t seen the movie Blow you definitely need to check it out!

The movie’s also got Paul Reubens in it. My first time seeing Blow was my first time ever seeing Reubens out of his Pee Wee character- which "blew" my mind.
