Apparently you can take the player out of Michigan State but that doesn’t mean you take the fight out of him as evidenced by Draymond Green’s weekend at his alma mater with an MSU football player named Jermaine Edmondson.

And while at least two police officers witnessed Green slapping Edmondson across the face outside of a bar in East Lansing early Sunday morning—now it’s Edmondson who claims the altercation began Friday night, as he was hanging out with his girlfriend, when Green bumped into him. At this point the MSU player said to Green, “Hey bro, you can at least say excuse me.”

Which is when Green allegedly responded by saying, “Do you know who I am? I pay for young men’s like yours scholarships.”

Only instead of “young men’s” he used a single word that would have been better suited for a rap song as two of Green’s associates began to choke him and his girlfriend right in the bar.

Still, Edmondson says he left without contacting police and returned the following day to celebrate his birthday only to again encounter Green who confronted him about the incident the previous night saying “last night wasn’t cool” while poking him in the shoulder.

When Edmondson said not to touch him was when he told cops “boom I’m punched in my jaw.”

Police arrested Green, who reportedly admitted to slapping Edmondson. He apologized and expressed an interest in speaking with the MSU defensive back to “make things right,” but police brought Green and his .10 BAC into custody.

Edmondson has since asked and been granted to be let out of his scholarship as a football player at MSU, although he claims it's to get more playing time. It wouldn't be because he's getting some s*** for  the incident, would it?
