Each of the participating restaurants will offer three-course meals for only $28; with some restaurants offering two meals for $28.
Not only is Restaurant Week delicious, but it’s also for good cause with $1 from every meal sold during Restaurant Week going to a scholarship fund for the Secchia Institute for Culinary Education at Grand Rapids Community College.
Since 2010, participants of Restaurant Week Grand Rapids have donated almost $75,000 to the fund. That’s a lot of tasty donations!
Last night, I went on a “culinary adventure” to Terra in Eastown. Formerly known as Trillium Haven, Terra offers a farm-to-table dining experience.
I tried Terra’s three-course menu designed for Restaurant Week and was not disappointed!Highlights included the Heirloom Tomato and Watermelon Salad with Feta.
And my favorite entree- the Pan Seared Scottish Salmon:
