I got a call the other day from Frances Neville, President of the Friends of Peninsular asking if I would be willing to share with you the information about the upcoming arts and crafts show for the holiday season.

Well, of course. I mean come on! I enjoy finding the unique perfect gifts to give my friends and family and I can't think of a more unique gift than something that was hand made right here in the mitten!

How are you connecting with community this holiday season?

I'm going to be 100% honest. Dolls freak me out. So you won't get any competition from me buying the dolls. However, quilts?! YES PLEASE!

I had to retire my old quilt not too long ago as it was in literal tatters. I've been using a fleece fabric blanket lately, it's alright, but there's something to be said for a legit quilt. Like let me find a nice one like my grandmother used to make and you better believe that's a Christmas gift for ME!

Anyway, admission being a buck and it helps out a non profit, it's definitely worth the price of admission to mosey around and look (if not buy) something cool to give a friend or family member for Christmas.
