So today it happened. Gov Synder signed a bill that would allow motorcycle operators 21 or older to ride without a helmet. The Riders will need at least $20,000 in insurance to ride in the state sans helmet. Groups who supported the bill are overjoyed. They felt Michigan lost millions of dollars to other states where people can ride with no helmet. People who opposed the bill feel more money will be needed for insurance and injuries.

Where do you stand? What do you think about this? Are you a rider? Will you ride with or without a helmet. Having lived in other states where there are no helmet laws, it IS kinda weird seeing someone tooling down the road with no helmet.

Tell me what you think!
