A marriage is like a roller coaster with lots of ups and downs, twists and turns, so what's a better way to get engaged than on an actual roller-coaster?

That's exactly what Austin Crecelius was thinking recently when he proposed to his girlfriend, Allison Boyle, while riding the Voyage roller-coaster at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana.

As the wooden coaster approached the first drop, and with their friends capturing the moment on video, Austin said, "At one point in time you had mentioned to me that life is like a roller coaster. And it's got its up and downs, it's got twists and turns, and it even throws you for a loop sometimes. And though you can go by yourself, it's a lot more fun to go with another person. So I wanted to ask you if you wanted to be my roller coaster buddy. Allie will you marry me?"

Allison immediately teared up and Austin tried to place a ring on her finger as they plummeted down the first drop. When they exited the ride, they were greeted by family and friends and Austin dropped to one knee for a more traditional proposal.

I'm instantly reminded of the classic Ohio Players '70s hit, 'Love Rollercoaster'
