Ron Buckner Previews The Jordan Shimmell Fight On The Jojo Show

Boxing writer Ron Buckner of the Heavy Bag Boxing joined Jojo Girard this morning from Minnesota, where he is covering the Jordan Shimmell Crusiserweight elimination fight Tuesday night.

Buckner took a look at Shimmell's chances against Murat Gassiev.

Tuesday night, Joran Shimmell faces a key elimination bout in his quest for the World Cruiserweight title when he faces Murat Gassiev from Black Bear Casino in Carlton MN.

Buckner talked about Shimmell's chances against the big punching Gassiev, why Shimmell may be the hardest working man in boxing and whether boxing can become the unified force it was in the 70s and 80s.

The fight will be broadcast tonight as part of the Toe To Toe Boxing Sereis starting at 9:00pm on FOX Sports 1.
