Notre Dame head football coach Brian Kelly asked running back Josh Anderson to model the team’s “Shamrock Series” uniforms before his teammates.

Anderson walked in front of the team in the new uniform and Kelly commented on the senior’s ability and the qualities that made him a shining example for his teammates to follow.

Kelly explained that Anderson was a great model, going on to explain that Anderson models a lot of the things that are “right with Notre Dame football.”

Kelly ended the meeting -- and the discussion of Josh Anderson -- by offering Anderson a scholarship.

A walk-on for the three previous seasons, Anderson will get a full-ride this school year, an honor well earned.

There’s been a lot of chatter about college players getting paid. Considering the many millions that the sport generates, paying players makes sense. But… for a guy like Josh Anderson… this scholarship changes his life. He can quit his night job.

It's reminiscent of another well know walk on athlete at Notre Dame, isn't it?
