It's official: Sandra Bullock is PEOPLE's Most Beautiful Woman of 2015.

Flanked by Ariana Grande, Gabrielle Union and Gigi Hadid, the Academy Award-winning actress had more of a reaction like her Miss Congeniality counterpart, Gracie Lou Freebush, when she found out about the honor.

"I just said, 'That's ridiculous,'" the actress told the magazine, revealing that she laughed when she heard her new title. "I've told no one."

Despite being physically stunning, Sandra Bullock's true beauty really does come from within — just listen to her talk about her son, Louis, and her outlook on life.

"Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it's just so hard not to say, 'Oh, I need to look like that,'" she said. "No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they're in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren't trying."

In keeping in line with her complete non-Hollywood attitude, Bullock added that her young son doesn't even know what his mom does — and she wants to keep it that way for as long as she can.

"He thought I was an astronaut for a while," the Gravity actress revealed. "I want it to be so inconsequential and such a nonissue. I want him to be embarrassed by me like all other parents."

And it is this special relationship with her son that the actress lives for.

"I was putting him to bed and told him that even when I'm old and gray and more wrinkly than I am now, I'll still love him and want to tuck him in," she told the magazine. "And he asked why I have wrinkles, and I said, 'Well, I hope some of them are from laughing so much.' And he touched my face and said, 'You're not old, you're just happy.'"
