Sara Evans and REO Speedwagon Set For ‘CMT Crossroads’

Sara Evans will team up with '80s rockers REO Speedwagon for the next episode of 'CMT Crossroads', which is set to premiere Saturday, September 19th.

This will be Sara’s third time on 'Crossroads.' She’s already done the show with Maroon 5 in 2008 and Joe Walsh in 2012 (both were amazing).

And this isn’t the first time Sara and Speedwagon have worked together. They both took part in Brad Paisley’s Summer Cruise last year.

"They sound just as amazing today as they did when I first heard them on the radio growing up in Missouri," said Sara. "I'm really honored and thrilled to be able to sing with (frontman) Kevin (Cronin) and the guys."

Adds the Speedwagon frontman Cronin, "When we got the offer to do 'CMT Crossroads' with her, we jumped at the chance to hear Sara's sweet voice on our songs, and to put our spin on hers.”

The Sara Evans/REO Speedwagon “CMT Crossroads” will tape Tuesday in Nashville.
