This shouldn't come as a surprise since many of their stores have already closed but the 125-year-old company continues to dwindle.

Sears made the announcement on Thursday morning that they would be closing 63 more Sears and K-Mart stores around the U.S. According to Business Insider, closures will begin this month; all will be closed by September. This includes four locations in Michigan:

  • Dearborn
  • Flint
  • Sterling Heights
  • Traverse City

The one at Woodland Mall closed last March after being there for almost 50 years. The one at Rivertown Mall remains safe... for now at least.

The 63 stores are a part of a group that is considered "unprofitable" for the company. Their press release states that they lost $424 million in the first quarter of 2018 which just ended on May 5th.
