Secret Santa Trend Spreads from Grand Rapids Across US (Video)

Earlier this week WZZM 13 shared the story of a Grand Rapids man who is giving back  this holiday season. On Wednesday he walked into the K-Mart on Plainfield Ave. and paid off several strangers' layaway bills.

The Secret Santa trend is spreading! Wood TV-8 reports that throughout this past week customers at K-Mart on Plainfield continue to pay off complete strangers' layaway bills.

And now, someone  in California is getting in on the giving spirit:

Saturday, Kmart Assistant Manager Carol Vernon got a call from a manager in California. She was told someone saw the original story on a national website and walked into a West Coast Kmart to pay off $5,000 worth of layaway tabs.
