Seems like there have a lot of what they call a "data breach" lately, doesn't it?  First it was the high-profile breach at Target stores, then another one at smaller retailers.  Now?  It's Home Depot!

Banks are reporting that Home Depot experiences a credit card breach that could be BIGGER than the Target problem last year.

“I can confirm we are looking into some unusual activity and we are working with our banking partners and law enforcement to investigate,” Home Depot spokesperson Paula Drake told security researcher Brian Krebs.

Apparently a large group of stolen credit and debit card information went on sale on the black market earlier this week.  Security teams believe the same people behind the Target problem are behind this one, too.  So if you've shopped at Home Depot lately, call your bank to verify that your debit or credit card information is secure.  And log on to check your bank account!
