I skated to a 4-2 week in Week 4, making my season mark a not so sterling 18-6, although I should get extra credit for getting the Michigan State score right on the money, even though it was in the wrong order.

Last week, I missed the State game and the Ferris State, which makes me wary that the Bulldogs are gonna be a hard team to figure out this season.

I have to pick up an extra game to get six in this week, so once again we look west to Holland, and Hope College to fill the gap.

Let's started all up in here.

Wisconsin (4-0) at  Michigan (4-0) -- Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor, 3:30pm Saturday

Let's not get too carried away about the Badgers. While their easy win in East Lansing was surprising, it was more so because of the MSU implosion than the Badgers being overly impressive. Yes, their defense is good, but M's is better. If the Wolverines can limit the mistakes on offense, they should cover the spread, and I'm sure Jimmy Boy has given that speech.

Western Michigan (4-0) at Central Michigan (3-1) -- Kelly Shorts Stadium, Mt. Pleasant, 7:00pm Saturday

My heart says 'Fire Up Chips', but my head says 'Row The Boat'. Either way, there should be a plethora of points put up on Saturday night, as both sides love to score points, and give them up. CMU's only chance here is not to dig too big of a pit to dig out of like they did last week in Charlottesville. I know I'm in the minority, but in Coach Bonamego, I trust. If I lose, my heart will go on, just like in The Titanic.

Michigan State (2-1) at Indiana (2-1) -- Memorial Stadium, Bloomington, IN 8:00pm Saturday

A nice road test for Sparty after last week's home humiliation. While Wisconsin's defense bothered QB Tyler O'Connor, it wasn't entirely his fault last week. The kid will look sharp this week, as MSU corrects its course with a big win.

Grand Valley (4-0) at Ohio Dominican (2-2) -- Panther Stadium, Columbus, OH 12 noon Saturday

The Panthers were destroyed by Ferris in week one, but make no mistake, this will be a tougher Panther squad at home. That being said, the big story for the Lakers this season has been the resurgent defense, which leads the GLIAC in several categories, including scoring defense, where they give less than 10 points a game. If Ohio Dominican has has a problem this year, it's been on offense, so that won't bode well Saturday afternoon.

Ferris State (3-1) at Findlay (2-2) -- Findlay, OH, 7:00pm Saturday.

Now that the pressure of maintaining a 28 game regular season winning streak is over, perhaps the Bulldogs can resume being the D-II power they have been in season's past. The Bulldogs have looked wildly inconsistant, especially on defense this season, but I'm trusting coach Tony Annese to get the ship straight this week. If common opponents are any indication, the Bulldogs should roll, but road games are always tough in the GLIAC,especially when Rhys Gervais is the opposing QB. Gervais passed over 300 yards in the first half alone last week.

Olivet (2-1) at Hope (1-2), Smith Stadium, Holland 6:00pm Saturday

The small college MIAA season kicks off with this test between up and coming Olivet, and struggling Hope. Coach Peter Stuursma will eventually get Hope back on track, I'm sure of it. It just won't be this week.
