Earlier this week, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets in Game One of the NBA Western Conference Finals.

And after the game, league MVP Steph Curry ruffled a few feathers by attending the postgame press conference with his two-year-old daughter, Riley, who sort of “stole the show” because of her infinite cuteness.

Believe it or not, there was a backlash. Not everyone loves little girls -- especially when they’re taking attention away from “the story,” which was Curry’s performance during that playoff game.

C’mon… “The story” doesn’t involve world peace or a cure for cancer. “The story” is about a game. A child’s game. It’s basketball. Not war and peace.
