There has been a lot of construction happening on Southbound 131 between Sand Lake and Cedar Springs the last few weeks and it's going to ruin your commute the next few days.  Today (October 18th) through Friday morning (October 20) SB 131 will be closed between 22-Mile Rd. and 14-Mile Rd. (M-57) from 7PM in the evening to 7:30AM in the morning.  You can follow the posted detour at Algoma Ave. to get around the construction.

Once reopened each morning, SB 131 between 22-Mile Rd. and 14-Mile Rd. (M-57) will still be down to one lane between the hours of 7:30AM through 7PM in the evening.  The freeway closures will last through Friday morning, but the lane closures will continue through Sunday.

In addition to the Southbound construction Northbound 131 will be down to one lane from 14-Mile Rd. (M-57) to past 17-Mile Rd. (M-46).  That construction is scheduled through 3PM Friday.
