SURVIVOR-WHAT’S WITH THE “REDEMPTION?”

There's a twist this season. It's the first time that players who are voted off get a chance to return to the competition.  The booted contestant will be exiled to an island, where they'll wait for a head-to-head battle with the next eliminated contestant. The winner of that match gets back in. It will be real interesting to see how Survivor survives against American Idol.

I think CBS is adding the "redemption" gimmick in hopes of getting some promotional buzz. What do you think??
