Swimming Pool in Calgary Goes to the Dogs
Really cool fundraiser at a swimming pool in Calgary. After the pool is officially closed to humans for the summer, they open the pool to the dogs.
The logic being that they're going to drain the outdoor heated pool anyway. Why not let the dogs have their day in the sun and enjoy a nice paddle around the pool.
Last year they raised $800 for the Calgary humane society. Not bad.
It was dogs day Monday in Calgary outdoor pools. Dogs were invited to take a plunge after the pools closed for the season to raise money for charity.
