We introduced you to Emily Zugay a month ago. She is a Grand Rapids native who has made a name for herself as the anti-designer. She's been redesigning famous logos with her deadpan humor on TikTok. She now caught the eye of Ellen DeGeneres. DeGeneres had Zugay as a guest on her TV show.

The Detroit Lions have recently received a redesigned logo...and a name change. The new brand was debuted on the Lions TikTok account.

Grand Rapids has received a lot of accolades over the last year or so. We’re Beer City, USA, we had an awesome Lip Dub video that went viral online, we've got a beautiful place to live, lots going on and now, Forbes Magazine as named Grand Rapids the number one city for raising a family!

What do you think of the flap over the city of Wyoming's logo? A group called "Freedom From Religion Foundation" based out of Madison, Wisconsin, has called for the West Michigan city to remove the picture of a church steeple with a cross off it's city logo, citing separation of church and state. For me, I don't think it's that big of a deal, but I can see why people would think it is. R
