Even if you’re not the biggest fan of CGI actors returned from the dead, you probably had to appreciate the ways that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards tried to bring the events of Star Wars: A New Hope more directly into his film. In several key sequences, Edwards was even able to feature unseen footage from the original 1977 film, causing fans to wonder where that new footage came from (and why they hadn’t seen it before). Are there entire archives of unseen footage that Lucasfilm has been hiding from fans for all these decades?

Daisy Ridley Says ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Already Revealed Rey’s Parents
One of the biggest questions we were left with at the end of The Force Awakens, aside from “Do you think Luke makes his own organic soap out there on that space island?” was “Who the heck are Rey’s parents?” It’s a question that won’t be answered in the Star Wars universe until Episode VIII hits theaters late next year…unless you’re a real smarty-pants like Daisy Ridley.

While Star Wars: The Force Awakens left us with plenty of unanswered questions, perhaps no question looms as big over the franchise as the lineage of Daisy Ridley’s Rey. Ever since the film was released, fan theories have run wild with the questions of why Rey was abandoned by her parents and how she may have come by her force sensitivity. Is she the daughter of Obi-Wan Kenobi? Is she the daughter of Luke Skywalker? What is the significance of that flashback sequence? Inquiring minds want to know.

An Orchestra Made of Old Computer Parts
We've all heard the noises that certain electronics make. From the sound of an old dial up modem connecting, to beeps and blips that tell us that something is either acting like it should or -- worse yet -- malfunctioning. Who would have thought that if all these noises were assembled, they could be come a sort of "electronic orchestra"!

Netflix to Officially Begin Streaming New Disney Films in September
Way back in 2012 (or at least it feels way back), Netflix and Disney struck a deal for all of Disney’s movies — including Marvel, Pixar and Lucasfilm — to stream exclusively on Netflix Instant. According to the terms of their agreement, the deal wouldn’t kick in until 2016, which just so happens to be the year in which we are currently living. As announced today, Netflix will officially begin streaming Disney films in September, but that doesn’t mean the studio’s entire library will magically appear in your Instant browser.

We still don’t know exactly who will be filling Harrison Ford’s iconic shoes in the role of young Han Solo, and it may still be a while before Lucasfilm makes the casting official. Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are currently in pre-production on the untitled spinoff, and to celebrate Star Wars day, Miller has shared an image teasing a very familiar-looking sidekick.
