The State Of Politics In The United States Today
The Republican National Convention is wrapping up in Tampa Bay. Now anyone who knows me knows I'm not very political, but one thing has happened this week that even has me, non-politic guy, shaking his head in disbelief. The state of the political system in this country has probably hit an all time low, along with the cable TV viewing tastes of millions of Americans.

Why The United States Is The Greatest Country In the World.
There is a TV show on TLC called "All American Muslim". It's a basic cable "reality" show based on family's day to day life in Dearborn, but Detroit. The family is Muslim. The show portrays their struggle to live a normal life in a country which most of the time isn't very forgiving of any one who is "different". But, they would probably agree, the United States of America is the greatest country in the world.

Former TV Pitchman Don Lapre Dead.
Remember Don Lapre? He was the early 90's late night TV ad huckster who promised you could make "millions just like he did from tiny classified ads in the paper". While the paper's future is spotty, Lapre's isn't so good. He's dead.

‘Kate Plus 8′ Cancelled–”This Is SO Over” [VIDEO]
Our long national nightmare is OVER...TLC's "Kate Plus 8" has been cancelled. I really haven't been happier about a show being taken off the air since they axed "The Paula Poundstone Show". Sorry, just am not a fan. They could also lose "Louie" too. UNFUNNIEST comic on stage today. But I digress.

7 Shocking Eating Addictions From TLC’s ‘My Strange Addiction’ [VIDEOS]
Earlier this year, the TV show 'My Strange Addiction' (Wednesdays on TLC) featured a woman who has one of the strangest addictions we have ever seen. Adele is a 30-year-old who likes to eat couch cushions. She doesn't just chew on them, she actually eats them. When added all up, she has eaten a combined total of seven couches and two chairs in her lifetime.
We were so fascinated by this truly strange addiction that we decided to look for more footage of unusual eating addictions that they've had on the show. We certainly found them.
