If you've bought applesauce at Trader Joe's recently, you might want to take that stuff back to Trader Joe's...or throw it out. Unless you are okay possibly eating GLASS! A recall went out today on three different types of Trader Joe's applesauce.
A lease was signed on Dec. 22, 2014 between representatives of Trader Joe's East Inc. and Grand Rapids-based CWD Real Estate Investment, leasing Trader Joe’s space in Kentwood. The space is located across from Centerpointe Mall on 28th Street, according to the Grand Rapids Business Journal.
Over the last 24 hours or so, Facebook and Twitter have been alive with Grand Rapidians posting about how happy they are that Trader Joe's and Whole Foods would be coming to Grand Rapids. But, it turns out that at least one of the grocery chains isn't planning to set up shop in GR any time in the near future.
A foodie's dream come true! Both Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are set to enter the Grand Rapids market sometime in the next year or so. Both chains having been eying GR for sometime now, and have finally put the wheels in motion to come to town!
