Serving 400 to 500 individuals daily, Dégagé Ministries offers help and hope to homeless and disadvantaged individuals in our community. Its mission is "to reflect the love of Christ to all who come through our doors by building relationships and offering programs that offer dignity and respect".

We Do Care is an non-profit organization dedicated to helping children with cancer in the Grand Rapids area. It was founded by Bob Olson, a Comstock Park man who battled his cancer himself. He was moved by the brave children he saw going through chemotherapy with him, and vowed to ease their pain one day. We Do Care is the result of that effort.

November is the month of Thanksgiving, a time for reflecting back in gratitude on the blessings that we have. Many in West Michigan are blessed to have an organization like Feeding America (the West Michigan Food Bank) in our community, helping to feed those on the margins. If you have plenty to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, maybe you can lend a hand to those who are struggling.

Safe Haven Ministries is our Wee Difference charity for October, and Tara Aday talked to the Jojo Show about their mission and how you can help out.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. With that in mind, 98.7 WFGR has named Safe Haven Ministries, of Grand Rapids, as its Wee Difference charity for the month of October. Since 1990, Safe Haven has been helping women and children find freedom from domestic violence.

This month our charity that makes a Wee Difference in our community is The Guiding Light Mission. The Guiding Light Mission has a history of helping the less fortunate in Grand Rapids that dates back to 1929. Providing food and shelter to all, and resources to men that support their social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual needs. And on Wednesday and July 23, Guiding Light is opening its door

The Wee Difference charity for June is Benjamin's Hope. Benjamin's Hope was founded by Krista Mason as a way to prepare her autistic son for adult life. Located near Holland, its 40-acre campus encourages outdoor activities and is highly interactive.

Classic Hits 98.7 WFGR's Wee Difference maker for April is Family Hope Foundation. Family Hope Foundation is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that serves individuals with special needs and their families in West Michigan.

The Wee Difference for this month is the Friends and Family of Cystic Fibrosis. And their big fundraiser is the "Bid For Bachelors & Bachelorettes" Saturday at Devos Place!
