Looking for some summer adventure? Why not take a hike around beautiful North Manitou Island in Lake Michigan -- part of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

Here's a quick time lapse tour of the island, courtesy of some guys who hiked it last summer.

According to his YouTube page, Marcus Rits has climbed on Half Dome in Yosemite and made his way down the Red River Gorge in Kentucky, and he rates the hiking on North Manitou Island in Michigan as 'the best backpacking in the Midwest'.
