The 30th Modern Olympics Are Here! So Why Am I Not Caring…
July 28, 2012 3:18 AM It’s not because I don’t want the USA to win and do well. Of course I do. Maybe I’m just getting older, but the Olympics used to be more fun when there was a real bad guy. Remember when the Olympics were like WWE wrestling? There was a good guy (Hulk Hogan) and a bad guy (Andre the Giant, god rest his soul) and then there were the bad guys who became good guys (Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage’ god rest HIS soul).
USA, Russia, Germany. Same thing.

Who knows, maybe I will feel different after we win a few medals. Or I see Mr Bean more. When Bob Costas interviews him, that’s when the Olympics will have Jumped the Shark. Maybe Waterskiing should be an Olympic sport…hmmm…
