Music fans will want to make sure to tune into CBS tonight to catch the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards, sadly because quite a few big name musicians will be memorialized, including David Bowie and Michigan's own Glenn Frey (above).

Already scheduled for the GRAMMY Awards are memorial tributes performed by a wide array of current and classic artists:

  • Lady Gaga is confirmed to perform a tribute to David Bowie, curated by his “Let’s Dance” producer Nile Rodgers.
  • The Hollywood Vampires, featuring Alice Cooper Johnny Depp andJoe Perry, will salute Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister.
  • Chris Stapleton, Bonnie Raitt and Gary Clark, Jr. will pay tribute to B.B. King.
  • Eagles founders Don Henley and Bernie Leadon, will be joined by Eagles Timothy B. Schmit and Joe Walsh, as well as Jackson Browne to pay tribute to Glenn Frey.

Lionel Richie, 2016’s MusiCares Person of the Year, will also be saluted, with performances by Luke Bryan, John Legend, Demi Lovato, and Meghan Trainor, as well as Richie himself.

As far as the rest of the festivities, hip-hop artist and producer Kendrick Lamar leads the list of this year’s nominees with 11, while The Weeknd and Taylor Swift are tied for second with seven nominations each.

All three are in the running in the coveted Album of the Year award (Kendrick for “To Pimp a Butterfly,” Taylor for “1989” and The Weeknd for “Beauty Behind the Madness”), where they’ll compete with Chris Stapleton for “Traveller" and Alabama Shakes for “Sound & Color”

Taylor is set to open the show, but she’s far from the only entertainment of the evening. Other performers include Adele, Alabama Shakes,Travis Barker, James Bay, Justin Bieber, Andra Day, Diplo, Ellie Goulding, the "Hamilton" Broadway cast, Sam Hunt, Tori Kelly, Kendrick Lamar, Little Big Town, Pitbull, Rihanna, Skrillex, Robin Thicke, Carrie Underwood and The Weeknd.

The 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards, hosted by LL Cool J, airs on CBS tonight at 8 pm live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Lady Gaga, meanwhile, has gone all in for her tribute to Bowie, Gaga shared on Snapchat that she just got a huge Bowie tattoo on her left side. The ink, done Mark Mahoney at Shamrock Social Club in West Hollywood, is of Bowie’s “Aladdin Sane” album cover.
