The Grand Rapids Griffins playoff run came to an abrupt end last night, when they dropped a 4-3 overtime decision to the Lake Erie Monsters. However, we choose to look on the bright side, like this butt whipping the Griffs Mitch Callahan handed out.

Before we get started, let's hear it for the Griffs, who once again gave us a season of thrills and chills while rolling to their sixth straight appearance in the second round of the AHL playoffs.

Now, let's get to the nitty gritty. Mitch Callahan squared off with the Monsters Kirby Rychal. After a dead even start, Callahan lands a solid left and Rychal hits the ice with a stunned look as if to say 'what happened?'
