Maneuvering through airports during the holidays can be a total nightmare, and lots of the time fellow passengers are to blame.

Navigating the craziness at airports during holiday time can give anybody a headache, and fellow travelers aren’t making it any easier. No matter how skilled you are at the art of traveling, you are bound to bump into those annoying people who make the whole experience a nightmare, and there’s pretty much nothing you can do about it.

So it’s time to call out those annoying people, and by doing so, maybe, just maybe, they’ll recognize themselves and do something to change their behavior, so we can all have a less-stressed time traveling this week.

  • Drunks – Sure, some people need a drink or two to calm their nerves before they get on the flight, but getting drunk before you board is just a recipe for disaster.  Not only do people around you not want to hear your loud talking, or try and navigate around your stumbling, there’s a good reason why so many of those unruly passenger stories involve someone who’s intoxicated.

  • Security Line Idiots – We’ve all been doing it for years now so how is it some people still don’t know that they have to take their shoes off at security? Or that they can’t bring liquids through? If you don’t already know the rules, do some reasearch online before you go so we can all breeze through the TSA checkpoint with ease.

  • Moving Sidewalk Blockers – Simple, stand to the right if you want to be lazy, keep the left open for walkers. They are called sideWALKS for a reason.

  • Parents Who Don’t Control Their Kids – Does this even need an explanation? Parents, just because the terminal is a wide-open space, doesn’t make it a playground for your kiddies.

  • Early Boarders – It never fails, no matter how many times a gate agent calls for only one boarding group, someone (more like everyone) will try to act like the rules don’t apply to them and attempt to sneak past. And what’s worse? All the people who surround the gate just waiting for their row to be called, thereby blocking everyone else from getting in.

  • Outlet Hoggers – Hey, when there are limited outlets to plug in devices, be considerate and not use them all for yourself. It’s not our fault you weren’t smart enough to charge things before you left.

  • The Headphone-less Traveler – Guess what? Nobody wants to hear your video game or movie as they are waiting for their flight. We know you have headphones in your bag just use them.

  • Yellers – Sure traveling can be frustrating, especially if you encounter countless delays, but there really is no reason to scream at the poor gate agent. Don’t you realize a delay is just as stressful to them as it is to you? They’re just doing their job, and you screaming at them isn’t going to stop the winter storm outside and get you to your destination.
